New Year Resolutions that Support Joy’s House

The new year is upon us, and like many people, you may have made a commitment to lose some weight, get better organized or give up something for the year. Here are a few ways you can support Joy’s House by making a resolution to better serve our community:

1) Support our Scholarship Fund
Joy’s House relies upon many donors to support scholarships for families in need of financial assistance. We need your help. If you would like to make a gift directly to our Scholarship Fund, please click here and select “Scholarship Fund” in the drop down menu.

2) Volunteer and Get Involved at Joy’s House
Would you like to spend some time with our Guests? Bring a school group to participate? Or are you interested in being on one of our leadership teams (Board, Advisors, Committees)? There are several upcoming Orientation Sessions scheduled, and we welcome you to check it out and be part of our family!

3) Make a Memorial or Honorary Contribution
Consider a gift in honor or memory of a loved one to Joy’s House. His or her name will appear in our next Annual Report and Calendar, and the family will be notified of your generous gift in their name.

4) Attend an Event
Check out our 2013 events and join us! We offer events of respite for caregivers, informational and industry-related events, celebrations and fundraisers. Each event is meant to educate, serve and raise funds and awareness in our community about adult day services.

5) Engrave a Brick Paver
Our entryway is lined with pavers available to engrave with a special message or a loved one’s name. What a great way to make a lasting gift for $100. If you are interested in engraving a brick, please contact Cortney at cortney@joyshouse.org for an order form.

Make sure to follow us on Twitter and Facebook for current updates. May your 2013 be a great one! Happy New Year!
