Adult day service at Joy’s House provides care in a social environment designed for our Guests and caregivers. Joy’s House is a service which allows families to stay together for as long as possible in their own homes. Our adult day services often stand alone or can be paired with home health care, therapies or non-medical in-home companion services. A handful of our Guests even live in group homes or long-term care facilities. We are a very affordable option on the healthcare continuum focusing on individual safety, abilities, likes and desires.
Joy’s House is defined by those we serve: Guests, Caregivers, Employers and the Community
For our Guests, we are a safe and loving community in a homelike setting. One in four people is a caregiver for a family member or loved one. While caregiving is one of the most loving and giving acts, it can be an overwhelming experience balancing this care, jobs, families and a personal life. For caregivers, Joy’s House provides the direct care service to the Guests, but also offers caregiver support through dedicated and educated staff, caregiver retreats and concierge services to help make life a bit more simple and time together more precious.
As Joy’s House provides the care mentioned previously, employers reap the benefit of better rested employees who are able to focus on jobs knowing their loved one is at Joy’s House – safe and engaged. In return, the employer gets a more productive employee. For the community, Joy’s House is most interested in helping to educate people about the option of adult day service, as well as providing leadership for our state in regard to the adult day service industry. At Joy’s House, our mission comes to life every day in the care and community we provide for our Guests, caregivers, employers and the community.
